Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Sesn is a personal media tracker. Privacy isn't a feature bolted on — it's the reason this site exists. The short version: we store what you log, we don't sell or share it, you can export or delete all of it yourself, any time.

We do not sell your data, run ads against it, or lock it in. Export everything, any time.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we store the account identifier they give us — not your contacts, not your other data.
  • Your tracking data: the shows, movies, episodes, ratings, notes, and lists you log or import.
  • That's it. No analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting. Our only cookie is the session cookie that keeps you logged in.

What we don't do

  • We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
  • We don't make your watch history public. There are no social features unless you explicitly share a list, and sharing is off by default.
  • We don't email you except for things you ask for (like a password reset).

Sharing you control

If you share a list (for example as a Radarr/Sonarr feed), it's reachable by anyone with the generated link until you unshare it, which invalidates the link immediately.

Where data lives

Sesn runs on Cloudflare's network; your data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Show and movie metadata comes from TMDB — requests for posters load from TMDB's image servers.

Export and deletion

Export your full history as JSON or CSV from your Settings orDashboard at any time. Deleting your account (also in Settings) removes your account and all your data permanently and immediately — no grace period, no soft delete.
